Christians persecuted in Canada there is a jew who saves lives thanks to CYCI

A businessman Canadian jew founded an association ” Liberation of Christian and Yazidi Children of Iraq” (CYCI) in order to help those who today are fleeing Muslim persecution in Iraq.

Steve Maman has for over a year, with its association, has sided with the persecuted Christians kidnapped by terrorists of the ‘ ISIS and sold as sex slaves in northern Iraq. The work of charity works closely with teams in charge of mediating the negotiations to save especially children and abducted girls and allow them to reunite families.

In an interview given to a New York newspaper he reported that, despite the limited funds, this day was attended by about 1055 people. Maman likened the situation that every day is visible to everyone, but in the general silence, to that of the Jews fleeing from Nazi concentration camps. He said: “It ‘s very similar to when there were those who had to flee from the concentration camps and did the same, despite the risk of dying of hunger and cold in the woods … If I told you the number of calls and messages we receive every day of people stranded on the run and blocked the street … E ‘surreal! ”

The CYCI contributed, just in the past few hours, to save a fourteen taken prisoner in Lesvos. Very often these refugees end up just to hide in Greece and be arrested. After an operation lasting seven hours and thanks to the CYC, who managed to intercept the brother of the girl, another life was saved.

“There is no limit to where we go or what we should do to help people stranded or in trouble along the way,” said Maman. “But we are showing!”
